A KICK-ASS START TO A DUTCH OVEN GOULASH!

A perfect start for a Dutch Oven filled with a hot Goulash!
By using 15 different ingredients the Goulash is packed with flavor. 
They come in cans of 250 gram, enough for ca 20 portions.
Spices without any artificial colors, flavors, fragrances or other additives

“The Hungarian” award winning Goulash

Recipe for 3 a 4 persons
Preparation: ca 2 hours

Ingredients:
500 grams Beef
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons oil
1 union
Small can of tomato paste (70 grams)
2 fully loaded tablespoons “The Hungarian” ( 50 grams )
2 red belly peppers

Option:
100 grams smoked bacon
1 glass of red wine

Preparation:
Cut the beef in cubes and cover them with the flour. Dice the union.
Heat up some oil in the Dutch Oven and bake the beef until dark brown.
Add the union ( and bacon) and bake until soft.
Add the tomato paste and let it bake for a bit ( this gets rid of the sourness).
Put in some water and add “The Hungarian”.
Let it simmer of 1,5 hours then add the peppers and optional the wine. Put it bake to simmer until meat is cooked and tender.

Serve with cooked potatoes , rice and a salad.

Goulash soup

 

Recipe for ca. 4 a 6 persons
Preparation: 2,5 hours

Ingredients:
500 grams Beef
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons oil
2 unions
Small can of tomato paste (70 grams)
2 fully loaded tablespoons “The Hungarian” ( 50 grams )
3 red belly peppers
250 gram mushrooms in slices
1 bog carrot, in slices ( not to thick )
2 potatoes in small dices

Preparation:

 Cover the beef cubes with the flour. Dice the unions.
 Heat up some oil in the Dutch Oven and bake the beef until dark brown.
 Add the unions ( and bacon) and bake until soft.
 Add the tomato paste and let it bake for a bit ( this gets rid of the sourness).
 Put in some water and add "The Hungarian".
 Let this simmer for 1,5 hour
 Add the belly peppers, mushrooms, carrot and potatoes, maybe some water so all is submerged.
 Let simmer until meat and veggies are tender. You can add some more water for the right soup thickness.
Serve with freshly baked bread.
